Omega has been at home in Switzerland since 1848 — and since the NASA Moonwatch in 1969 a synonym for robust, professional watches. Today the Co-Axial escapement (introduced 1999, George Daniels) and the Master Chronometer standard (8,000 Gauss magnetic resistance) shape the movement profile.
In our Munich workshop we service the Speedmaster range — Moonwatch, Professional, Racing, Apollo — the Seamaster — 300, Diver 300M, Aqua Terra, Planet Ocean — Constellation and De Ville. Mechanical and quartz, Co-Axial and classic. Service, maintenance, repair, crystal replacement, polishing and cleaning, bezel replacement or bracelet service — all in one workshop, with a documented service protocol. Omega owners from Munich and the surrounding area hand over directly at the atelier in Grünwald; from anywhere in Europe we accept insured shipping.
The Co-Axial escapement (Cal. 2500, 8500, 9300, 8900, 9900) has its own lubrication intervals and service specifications. We know the differences to the classic Swiss lever escapement — and work with the correct oils at the correct points.
Vintage Speedmaster (Cal. 321, Cal. 861, Cal. 1861) requires special care. Original tritium dials, Lemania movements, lugs — all stay untouched as far as possible.
We work to the METAS specifications Omega has used since 2015 to certify every Master Chronometer caliber: 8,000 Gauss magnetic resistance, water resistance, rates between 0 and +5 seconds per day.
Every full overhaul with documented service protocol and 12 months warranty on the movement. Water resistance confirmed by pressure test.

Vintage Speedmaster with Cal. 321 (Lemania CH27) are collector-grade today. We work on them with the same care we bring to a Patek — open the movement, inspect, lubricate with manufacture oils, document.
Costs vary depending on the model, caliber, condition and scope. A Seamaster Aqua Terra sits on a different scale to a Speedmaster Moonwatch or a Co-Axial Master Chronometer — and a single repair, crystal swap or bracelet service on yet another. Sapphire crystal (Speedmaster Professional Sapphire) or hesalite plexi (classic Moonwatch) replaced to original specification. New gasket, final water resistance test.
Pressure testing to 300 m for Seamaster Diver, 600 m for Planet Ocean, 1,200 m for Ploprof. Gaskets replaced, crown and pushers checked.
Only on request. For vintage Speedmaster never — tropical dials, original lugs and lug shapes stay untouched.
Verification against Omega references: caliber, dial, crown, bezel, bracelet, clasp. Important for vintage Speedmaster, where there are numerous sub-references.

The Co-Axial escapement — introduced in 1999, George Daniels — has reduced friction compared to the classic Swiss lever escapement, longer service intervals and higher rate accuracy. That makes maintenance less frequent in many cases — but when it comes due, it requires specific knowledge. We bring it.
