Available Audemars Piguet models and prices
At Time Boutique you will find a curated selection of pre-owned Audemars Piguet watches at fair market prices. The Royal Oak revolutionised the entire watch industry in 1972 - the first luxury sports watch made of stainless steel, more expensive than gold watches of its time. Designed by Gérald Genta in a single night (before Baselworld 1972) and named after a British warship. Today, the Swiss manufacturer from Le Brassus is one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world - family-owned since 1875.
Royal Oak - The icon in different versions
The Royal Oak is available in several variants, each with its own character and price level. The classic Royal Oak in 39mm (15202 "Jumbo", 2022 discontinued) or 41mm stainless steel (15500, 15400, 15300) starts at around €25,000-40,000, depending on condition and year of manufacture. Royal Oak Chronograph models (26240, 26331) are priced between €50,000-80,000. Royal Oak in gold or bicolour (15500OR, 15500SR) can reach €60,000-150,000+, depending on complication and rarity. Skeleton Tourbillon and Frosted Gold variants can command premium prices well above this.
Characteristic design elements unchanged since 1972: the octagonal bezel with eight polished hexagonal screws, the tapestry guilloche pattern on the dial, the integrated steel bracelet with finely graduated polished and brushed surfaces.
Royal Oak Offshore - Sporty Power
The Royal Oak Offshore - introduced in 1993 as the "Beast" - is larger (42 mm and 44 mm), more robust and sportier than the classic Royal Oak. Prices for pre-owned offshore models in stainless steel start at around €25,000 (26470ST) and can rise to over €100,000 depending on the complication (Chronograph 26420, Diver 15710ST, Tourbillon, Survivor). Limited editions and special models (AP x Marvel Black Panther and Spider-Man, Offshore Diver Funky Colours, Survivor Forged Carbon) often achieve premium prices on the collector's market.
Code 11.59 - The new design language
Code 11.59, launched in 2019, is AP's answer to the Royal Oak monoculture. Octagonal case with round bezel and double-domed sapphire crystal - a tribute to classic round dress watches with modern construction. Platform for modern complications (Selfwinding Chronograph 26393, Perpetual Calendar 26394, Tourbillon 26396) in 41 mm, classic leather strap. Used prices: from €30,000 for the basic complication, from €80,000 for the Perpetual Calendar.
What you should look out for when buying a used AP
- Papers & Box: Complete sets (full set) with original box, papers and warranty card fetch 20-30% higher prices than "watch only".
- Condition: the tapestry guilloche pattern on the dial should be perfect - no scratches, no discolouration. Bezel brushing between the screws is also an indicator of previous polishing or previous owner interventions.
- Service history: documented maintenance by authorised workshops or certified specialists demonstrably increases the value.
- Originality: all eight hexagonal screws on the bezel should be original (even polish, correct alignment), no spare parts from third-party sources. The bracelet is also checked for regrinding.
Immediate availability instead of years of waiting lists
The biggest advantage of buying used AP watches: immediate availability. Waiting lists at authorised dealers are currently often 3-10 years or completely closed - new customers have practically no chance of getting a Royal Oak at list price. On the pre-owned market, you can get your dream watch within a few days - at Time Boutique with a full authenticity guarantee, 12-month warranty and personalised advice in the Munich workshop.

Investment potential of used AP watches
Audemars Piguet is one of the most stable watch brands of all - part of the "Holy Trinity" of haute horlogerie together with Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin. The Royal Oak "Jumbo" Extra-Thin (ref. 15202) has tripled in value in ten years; after its discontinuation in 2022, market prices continued to rise. Royal Oak Chronograph models increased by 150-250%. Royal Oak Offshore in rare configurations (Survivor, AP x Marvel) doubled within a few years.
The limited production volume (approx. 40,000 watches worldwide per year - in comparison: Rolex produces 25 times as many) and the extreme brand demand make AP an excellent investment class. Particularly stable in value are: Royal Oak Jumbo, Royal Oak Chronograph in steel, limited editions, tourbillon complications and models with special dials (Salmon, Blue, Smoked Green).
At Time Boutique, we give you honest advice on models with real investment potential - and also show you when a reference is overpriced in the current market and is worth waiting for.
