Patek Philippe has been Geneva watchmaking since 1839. Opening a Patek caliber means entering a different tradition: the Patek Philippe Seal instead of the Geneva Seal, Côtes de Genève on every visible plate, hand-finished anglage. Every service follows that standard.

In our Munich workshop we service Calatrava, Nautilus, Aquanaut, Gondolo, Twenty~4 and the complications — Annual Calendar 5905, Perpetual Calendar 5320G, Chronograph 5170, Moon Phase, Rattrapante. With manufacture oils, to Geneva specifications, with documented rates. Service, maintenance, repair, crystal replacement, polishing and cleaning, bracelet service or complication work — all under one roof, with a documented service protocol. Patek collectors from Munich and the surrounding area hand over directly at the atelier in Grünwald; from anywhere in Europe we accept insured shipping.

For complications — Perpetual Calendar, Annual Calendar, Chronograph, Moon Phase — we know the switching states, the correct setting sequence and the specific lubrication intervals. No complication service without understanding the whole mechanism.

Patek cases — especially Calatrava — live from precise lines and slim lugs. We polish only on request, with absolute restraint, preserving the original chamfers. Tropical dials and sigma markings stay untouched.

Patek movements have hand-finished anglage, polished screws, visible Côtes de Genève. With every service we follow that standard — even when it takes more time.

What does a Patek Philippe service cost?

Costs vary depending on the model, caliber, complication and scope. A Calatrava 5196 sits on a different scale to a Nautilus 5711 or an Annual Calendar Chronograph 5905 — and a single repair, crystal swap or bracelet service on yet another. What we do for your Patek

Six service building blocks, tuned to classics and complications.

Full overhaul

Movement opened, ultrasonically cleaned, worn parts replaced, lubricated with manufacture oils, rates re-regulated in five positions — to Geneva specifications.

Complication service

Dedicated service workflow for Perpetual Calendar (program wheel with 48-month cycle), Annual Calendar (12-month without leap-year correction), Chronograph (column wheel or cam), Moon Phase, Rattrapante.

Crystal replacement

Sapphire crystal replaced to original specification. For vintage Calatrava also plexi crystals with correct profile. New gasket, followed by water resistance test.

Water resistance testing

Pressure testing to Patek specification — 30 m for Calatrava, 120 m for Nautilus, 120 m for Aquanaut. Gaskets replaced where needed.

Careful polishing

Only on request. With preservation of original chamfers, slim lugs and the Calatrava signature line. No bulk polishing, no material loss.

Authentication

Verification against Patek references: movement with Patek Philippe Seal, dial, crown, bezel, bracelet, clasp. Documentation of all markings and serial number.

Patek Philippe has carried the Patek Philippe Seal since 2009 — an internal quality standard that goes beyond the Geneva Seal requirements. Patek movements have hand-finished anglage, polished screws, visible Côtes de Genève. With every service we follow that standard — even when it takes more time.

Patek complications require special knowledge: the Perpetual Calendar 5320G must have the correct sequence when set — date, day, month, leap year. The Annual Calendar 5905 has no leap-year connection, which makes it more everyday-friendly. The Chronograph 5170 with Cal. CH 29-535 PS is one of the most beautiful manufacture movements of the present — and demands corresponding care.

Five steps — from first photo to documented return.

    First contact

    You send photos and the reference number by email or phone. We give an initial assessment — including on complications, if any — and a rough scope.

  2. 02

    Handover or shipping

    Personal handover at the atelier in Grünwald or insured shipping from anywhere in Europe. Return shipping is included in the service price.

  3. 03

    Intake inspection

    Movement opened, authenticity checked against Geneva references, wear documented, water resistance tested. You receive a detailed cost estimate.

  4. 04

    Workshop work

    Actual work begins only after your approval. Full overhaul, complication service, crystal replacement — every step to Patek specifications with manufacture oils.

  5. 05

    Final check and handover

    Rate regulation in five positions, final water resistance test, cleaning. Service protocol and 12 months warranty on the movement.
