Tapisserie preservation
The petite or grande tapisserie on the Royal Oak dial is the model's signature. With any work at the movement we do not touch the dial — and if it has to come out, we do it with a discipline that preserves every detail.

Full overhaul, crystal replacement, water resistance, polishing. Royal Oak 15202, 15400, 15500, 16202 Jumbo, Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph, Code 11.59 — preserving the tapisserie and the original chamfers.
A Royal Oak is one of the most demanding pieces at the bench. Octagonal bezel, exposed screws, integrated tapisserie on the dial, integrated bracelet, brushed AND polished surfaces directly adjacent — each with its own grain direction. We know the steps.
In our Munich workshop we service AP from the classic Royal Oak 15202 Jumbo through the Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph range to the Code 11.59. Complications — Perpetual Calendar, Tourbillon, Annual Calendar — we work to Le Brassus specifications and with manufacture oils. Service, maintenance, repair, crystal replacement, polishing and cleaning, bracelet service or gasket replacement — all in one workshop, with a documented service protocol. AP owners from Munich and the surrounding area hand over directly at the atelier in Grünwald; from anywhere in Europe we accept insured shipping.

Royal Oak cases have brushed surfaces and polished chamfers, often on the same component. A continuous polish destroys exactly what makes the watch. We respect every grain direction.
We work with manufacture oils (Moebius, Microgliss) and to AP original specifications for Cal. 2120 (Jumbo), Cal. 3120, Cal. 4302 (newer Royal Oak) and Cal. 2385 (Offshore Chronograph).
Full overhaul, crystal replacement, water resistance — every job with documented service protocol and 12 months warranty on the movement.
The Royal Oak has been one of the most influential watches in the world since 1972 — Gérald Genta designed the case, AP built it. The Genta legacy is visible in every brushed surface, every polished chamfer, in the octagonal bezel with its eight hex screws. To service a Royal Oak is to take on a responsibility to that form.
Costs vary depending on the model, caliber, complication and scope. A standard Royal Oak 15400 sits on a different scale to a Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph or a Perpetual Calendar — and a single repair, crystal swap or bracelet service on yet another. A concrete assessment is made after intake inspection. Every estimate is free of charge and without obligation. For a first indication by phone we are reachable in Munich at +49 89 38164962.
Movement opened, cleaned, worn parts replaced, lubricated with manufacture oils, rates re-regulated in five positions. Including every lubrication point Le Brassus specification calls for.
Sapphire crystal (with anti-reflective coating on current models) replaced to original specification. New gasket, final water resistance test.
Pressure testing to AP specification — 50 m for classic Royal Oak, higher for Offshore Diver and newer sport models.
Only on request. We work chamfers and lugs so the original geometry stays intact. Tapisserie and brushed surfaces remain untouched.
Complete set of new gaskets, inspection of the octagonal crown and pushers for chronographs.
Verification against Le Brassus references: movement, dial tapisserie, bezel, bracelet, clasp, all markings and serial number.
Send photos and a brief description. Helmut, our master watchmaker, responds within 24 hours with a professional assessment and a transparent cost range — no obligation.

For complications — Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar 26574, Royal Oak Tourbillon, Code 11.59 Selfwinding Chronograph — Le Brassus specifications demand particular care: perpetual calendar requires correct month-wheel setting, tourbillon has its own lubrication intervals, the Code 11.59 has a two-part case construction that takes experience to open.
